At the moment there are a couple of design for the rover

Contents

TriBot Rover

This is the most simple design for the rover and this should be our first focus. For more information look here http://mindstorms.lego.com/Overview/MTR_Tribot.aspx

Sensor

Sensor 1: Ultrasonic distances

Sensor 2: touch

Sensor 3: Sound(dB(A))

Sensor 4: Light

Motors

Motor A: left wheel

Motor B: right wheel

WRV1 like rover

This rover is based on design of the WRV1.

Jaluro like Rover

This rover is based on design of the Jaluro.

PicoRover like Rover

This rover is based on design of the picorover.

Sensors

This is a major issue because the ball is sealed and sensors like the Ultrasonic Distance Sensor, touch, sound and maybe light wouldn't work.

Motors

Motor A: Drive Motor: rotates ball around the electronics inside (servo in picorover).

Motor B: Steering Motor: shifts center of mass horizontally to steer.

Examples
